iLiv gears up for Sport Relief

31st March 2014
Staff members at iLiv were on their marks and getting set to raise money for Sport Relief recently by taking part in a marathon cycle challenge.

A team of 20 staff raised £2,366 for the charity by pedaling 130 miles in seven hours on an exercise bike placed in prime position in the offices.

The total amount beat iLiv’s original £1,500 target and was raised through sponsorship and donations.

Spencer Brennand, commercial executive at iLiv, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who donated to this great cause, as well as Park Hall Leisure Club which kindly allowed us to use its exercise bike.

“We couldn’t be prouder of the efforts of all our staff and are thrilled to have beaten our initial target. Well done to all involved.”

iLiv is committed to fundraising and its staff recently also took part in a 50 mile trek across the Pennines to raise money for Derian House Children’s Hospice.

Sport Relief raises money for vulnerable people in the UK and abroad. Since being established in 2002 it has raised more than £195million by encouraging people to get active and raise cash.
